K9 Poodle Skirt
Since I am totally obsessed with Doctor Who, I couldn’t turn down the opportunity to make this skirt happen. A group of us were planning on going to see Grease at the Springer Opera House and we turned it into a costumed event. I painted K9 on my skirt. Get it?! Ahhh I can’t stop laughing at this!
TamaraPaints 365 Week 2
Week 2 roundup! Lesson learned this week: Make time for your art. I think this project is teaching me about time management more than art! Although all this practice is making me faster, I believe.
Day 8 – Full Moon Party
Day 9 – St Patrick’s Day on Broadway (SOLD)
Day 10 – 18th Amendment (drew on the back of a receipt at my friend’s birthday party so I wouldn’t miss my day!)
Day 11 – Country’s BBQ Trailer
Day 12 – Telescope Girl at the Creative Discovery Museum (Chattanooga)
Day 13 – Go Big or Go Home Cosplay – Death Knight Sword
Day 14 – First Presbyterian Church
Wine Glass Painting Classes
Did you guys know I also teach classes? I am a member of ColumbusMakesIT, a makerspace in Columbus, Georgia. We had a blast with a sold out painting party last Friday, and I have another scheduled this weekend. If you’re interested you can get more info here.
Finishing Week 1 of my 365 challenge
In an effort to not be so cluttery, I am thinking I will post by the week here. I will still post daily on my Instagram and Facebook.
On day 6 I had spent most of the day in the car driving all around the state of Georgia, but I made sure to get a quick painting in before bed. I only put in about half an hour, but I don’t want to miss a day!
Day 7 – Uptown Columbus on the Chattahoochee
TamaraPaints365 – Day 1
I am starting a personal challenge to do one painting a day for a year to improve my skills and challenge myself to be more spontaneous in my subject matter. Sometimes it may overlap the Columbus project, since I love it here so much.
Yesterday was Day 1! Wish me luck!
