Halloween Recap

This is my favorite time of year! The weather is cooler, everything comes in pumpkin flavor, and you can wear a costume almost every day without people questioning you! I had several opportunities to play with costume makeup this year, and of course we had some fun carving pumpkins. Happy Halloween, everyone!

Portrait of Saul for LifeLine Animal Center

I’ve finished Saul’s portrait for LifeLine Community Animal Center grand opening party this weekend! Several Atlanta artists created portraits of their dogs and if you adopt one of the models you get the painting too. It was awesome to be a part of something so special, and you know I love painting animals.

Hapeville Murals

With a friend between flights at the airport and not a lot of time, we had to find something close. Discovered the adorable hidden gem that is Hapeville, Georgia. Here’s a selection of new murals to share!

Nashville Murals

Another new city, another new collection of murals! I have so many from my recent trip to Nashville, but here are a few of my favorites. Nashville is a beautiful, musical, and colorful city. I can’t wait to go back for more!

Portraits of The Struts

You know I am a massive fan of UK rock band The Struts, and as I am headed to Nashville for a show in a couple days, I really felt compelled to do a little something for the band members. I found these great magnet-backed small canvas panels and thought they might be a nice way for a band on tour to keep up with a bit of art.

Progress on Art Gone Wild

I’ve been a busy, busy bee finalizing my final pieces for the art show on Friday! Here are some of my birds from Art Gone Wild in various stages. I can’t wait to share the finished paintings.

Art Gone Wild 2019 Paint Out Week

I’ve been selected for a third year for Zoo Atlanta’s Art Gone Wild fundraising art show! Paint out week was lovely, despite the rain – and great reunion seeing all of my AGW artist friends. The new rhinoceros hornbills, Bill and Nancy, were a hit with everyone! And Ros, my favorite king vulture, put on a great show for me. She will definitely be getting her own canvas this year. Here are some of my illustrations that have already gone to new homes during the week. Stay tuned for progress on the final pieces!

Studio Update!

How cute is this? I got a new desk and redid my studio area. I love it so much! It is the happiest place!

March Of Robots

I made a valiant effort to keep up with this social media-centered art challenge, but my work schedule got the best of me. Here are some of my favorite robot ink and watercolor illustrations I finished this month.
