Finally! One of my holiday secrets can be revealed! This painting was delivered last night. It’s a fun video game painting created for a friend with a love of NES games and a disappointing lack of artwork in his new apartment.

Happy New Year!
I have a busy month ahead between the studio and some commissioned projects! I am looking forward to a great year full of art and fun and adventure (and hopefully a trip to Italy–if I can find a way to pull that off). I kicked off 2015 at a masquerade party and made masks for my husband and I. that was a really fun project. I love stretching my creative muscles beyond the canvas!
Starry Night Over Gotham City
One of my favorite Christmas projects this year was this painting for my best friend. She’s obsessed with batman, and also is a sometimes artist herself when she’s not busy being a grown up sales/business person. I really enjoyed making this for her, and almost nothing tops her reaction to it!
