Art Gone Wild 2019 Paint Out Week

I’ve been selected for a third year for Zoo Atlanta’s Art Gone Wild fundraising art show! Paint out week was lovely, despite the rain – and great reunion seeing all of my AGW artist friends. The new rhinoceros hornbills, Bill and Nancy, were a hit with everyone! And Ros, my favorite king vulture, put on a great show for me. She will definitely be getting her own canvas this year. Here are some of my illustrations that have already gone to new homes during the week. Stay tuned for progress on the final pieces!

March Of Robots

I made a valiant effort to keep up with this social media-centered art challenge, but my work schedule got the best of me. Here are some of my favorite robot ink and watercolor illustrations I finished this month.

Art Gone Wild 2018 is Underway!

This is my second year being accepted into the annual fundraising art show for Zoo Atlanta. Paint out week was a success was so much fun! Here are some of my sketches and illustrations that have already been sold in the clothesline sale!

Some Illustrations

I have been so busy at work, but definitely trying to keep squeezing in some illustrations in the art journal. Here is my Vanessa (my cat), a quick self-portrait, and a sketch of my friend Mel in costume.

Art Gone Wild Final Pieces

I wanted to share with you guys the final pieces – both framed and unframed – from this month’s event at Zoo Atlanta. What an awesome experience this was! I miss going to the zoo every morning to paint.

Art Gone Wild @ Zoo Atlanta

The Art Gone Wild Fundraiser took place over the weekend kicking off with an art show on Friday night, and a two day sale over the weekend. It was such a joy to be a part of this event, and I can’t wait for next year as I hope to be selected as an artist for Zoo Atlanta again!

Coming Soon: The 6th Doctor Bunny

I joined a cosplay group for the Bunny Hutch at Dragon Con. We are attempting to reimagine all the doctors and various other villains, companions, and even props as bunnies. So this is my original illustrated idea! Wish me luck! Colin Baker has a wild coat!

Which then inspired some of the other members to ask me to sketch them some ideas to turn into cosplays. Here are a few of my illustrated fashion design ideas:

Treklanta

I cannot believe that I forgot to share this with you guys! Last month I was a guest artist at Treklanta. I was stationed in the main ballroom and did live painting of the panels and the events. Special thanks to Mel’S. Creations for having me. See more pictures in my facebook abum here.

Prints are a GO!

My test prints came in a day early and they are perfection! I have decided on a printer! Look out for more info coming soon on how you may own a piece of my artwork.
