Pet portraits have quickly become my most requested commission, so I’ve gathered all the details you need to request your own personalized pet painting in one easy spot! Please take a look at the information below, and feel free to reach out if you have any further questions.
Pet Portrait Cost
The cost of a pet portrait varies based on size and complexity. For reference, an 8×10 painting of a single pet is $200, while an 11×14 of one pet is $300 (these are the two most popular sizes). We’ll discuss your project in detail and confirm the final cost before starting.
A $50 deposit is required to secure your booking, with the remaining balance (plus shipping, if applicable) due upon completion. If you’re located in the Atlanta area, I’d be happy to arrange a meetup when possible!
Pet Portrait Timing
Typically, it takes me 2-3 weeks to complete a painting, though this can vary depending on my current workload. During busy seasons, such as around the holidays, there may be an increase in demand. If you have a specific deadline, please let me know, and I’ll do my best to accommodate your timeline. When you book, I’ll provide an estimated completion date.
I’ll stay in touch throughout the process and share progress photos as I work. If your painting is a surprise gift and you’d like to keep it under wraps, just let me know, and I’ll hold off on sharing any posts on social media until after it’s been gifted.
Reference Photos
When booking a portrait, I’ll need at least one clear, well-lit photo of your pet. To ensure I capture your pet’s true colors, please send original, unfiltered photos. If there’s tricky lighting, feel free to send a few extra images to help me get it just right.
I’ll also need to know what background color you’d like. Many people choose based on their pet’s personality, favorite colors, or home decor. If you’re unsure, I’d be happy to assist you in selecting the perfect color!
